What is Fogging?

Electrostatic fogging is a process using an airborne sanitiser to keep spaces germ-free for up to seven days. Using a specialised disinfectant we can quickly and effectively deep-clean and sterilise interior and exterior surfaces and spaces, both large and small.

This disinfectant is sprayed as part of an electrostatically charged mist into the atmosphere throughout the building. This process reaches and adheres to every surface without damaging vital IT equipment or paperwork.

Does fogging kill COVID-19?

Yes, it does. Coronavirus is enclosed by a lipid membrane (a fat like substance), this membrane is used by the virus to attach itself to a host cell. The virus then penetrates the host cell and replicates itself. The membrane is actually quite fragile and susceptible to disinfectants. Our fogging services use an NZ approved no-rinse sanitising agent to effectively kill COVID-19 and form an invisible barrier of a sprayed surface.

What is involved?

Our Auckland fogging service experts will assess the area required to best form a strategy. A day and time is then selected to best suit the needs of your business. The fumigation process can take between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on the area covered. Once complete, the business can be reopened within a few hours.
